I am delighted to announce the next offering in our monthly sound programme of 2018. I hope you can join us. Everyone is most welcome.
Sound baths are sound ‘immersions’. All you have to do is lie down*, fully clothed and comfortably, while meditative sounds literally wash over you – a deeply relaxing and fascinating sonic journey.
Instruments include singing bowls (metal Himalayan bowls and silica quartz crysta)l, gongs and gentle percussion which provide a chance to let your mind and body go. Sound baths can reduce physical tension in the body and can also provide feelings of freshness and rejuvenation at the mental and emotional levels.
Sound baths are not suitable for those in first trimester of pregnancy, anyone with severe mental health challenges , extensive metal plating or pacemakers.
Please bring something to lay on (mat or similiar), a pillow and a blanket- anything to make yourself comfortable. Remember it can get cold laying still for a length of time, so if in doubt, bring more rather than less. You might also like to bring an eye mask or eye bag. *If you are unable to lay on the floor, you are more than welcome to sit in a chair.
There is plenty of free parking at the venue. Please do not print out your ticket as I will have a list of all those who have booked – let’s save the trees!
